While I was at a church camp called (I think) Golden Bell I did many different things and I met many different people. There was a very good band called NEELY that preformed at the camp. When we went into teams the vocalist was our team leader!
One of my favorite things that I did was when I went repelling down a 70 ft. cliff! Believe it or not, the scariest part was just standing at the top and waiting your turn. I am afraid of heights but this was very fun! We also played mini golf and went swimming. I almost got to go on a zip-line but just as it was my turn, it started to rain. :-( I still had fun running back to the cabin in the rain! :-)
The food at this camp was AMAZING! Compared to my mom's cooking (bleh) this was about forty-two times better. One night the men had to escort the ladies through the line and get them their food. I hope I did good!
My least favorite part was when someone dislocated my shoulder during The Night Game. Jeff Baxter gave us very good sermons and is a very nice guy. I bought his book which is entitled Following Jesus Into College and Beyond. It is quite an interesting read. Other than a few mishaps I had a pretty enjoyable time at Golden Bell! I might even go back next year!
