The Disney Dining Experience

Hello, this is Drake again, and I am going to review the many restaurants my family and I ate at while we were at Walt Disney World. These are listed in no particular order.
Les Chefs de France was by far one of my favorite restaurants if you are not afraid to try new things. The whole restaurant has great atmosphere and delicious food. I had the "Filet de Saumon, ratatouille sauce Choron", which is broiled salmon, tomato Bearnaise, and ratatouille made with onions, zucchini, eggplant, and bell peppers. The salmon had a perfect flavor and even small children would love the ratatouille (if you could convince them to eat it)! I "borrowed" my sibling's french onion soup, and it was definitely the best soup I have ever eaten. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The San Angel Inn is also a good restaurant. The tables in this restaurant are located near the lagoon of the Gran Fiesta Tour attraction, so getting a seat closest to the water enhances the already great atmosphere. This restaurant is very dark, at times it is almost difficult to see what your food looks like! I highly recommend the " Pollo A Las Rajas". This restaurant is good, but not the best in WDW. If you really enjoy authentic Mexican food, give this one a try.
The Garden Grill was probably my least favorite restaurant on this trip. The food was good, but it was nothing new. Chicken, catfish, and flank steak. Once you've eaten here once, you never need to go again. They serve the same thing EVERY DAY. The restaurant is also a character meal, which might give you a reason to go again. The restaurant also slowly rotates in place, almost so slowly in fact, that you might not notice until your table has a view of certain parts of "Living With The Land". This is a good thing, as so the rotation does not bother people who are prone to motion sickness.
The Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room is a great place for eating dinner later at night. It has a fantastic view of Illuminations. During my experience there I ordered the "Surf and Turf", which is a combination of steak and battered fresh cod. It is also served with mashed potatoes and broccoli. This is probably my fourth favorite restaurant this trip, with Tutto Italia being my third with Les Chefs de France being my second favorite.
Tutto Italia is a wonderful restaurant with great food and excellent service. I swear, the waiters are everywhere at once! The food is wonderful! My favorite dish is the "Cannelloni al Forno", baked with spinach, bechamel, ricotta, and parmesan cheese. Excellent atmosphere and bustling with life make this restaurant really feel like Italy.
Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano is another great Italian restaurant. Though nowhere close to Tutto Italia's atmosphere and delicious food, it still offers good food, and is still a decent choice for a much lower cost. This restaurant is much quieter than Tutto Italia, and feels more like a mom and pop restaurant comparatively.
My very favorite eatery on this trip was The Wave. This restaurant was very relaxing. The atmosphere was wonderful and very modern. At each table is and electric candle, which emits a soothing light that flickers realistically. I had the bass with edemame stew served with cilantro chutney. That was one of the best meals I have ever eaten in my life. For those of you who are wondering, edamame is basically boiled green soybeans. It was so unique and original, I cannot help but giving it a 10 out of 10.
Trail's End is a great bargain for all of the good food that you eat. There are lots of food items at the buffet that will look tasty to all the picky children out there (hint hint Anna!!!). Plus, the drink of your choice comes in a cool mason jar! Unfortunately, you don't get to keep it. One of the more home-style restaurants, this one is a good pick for the price, especially if you have kids.
The Whispering Canyon Cafe is a good restaurant that is similar to Trail's End, but a few steps up. There are activities for the kids, as well as "all-you-care-to-drink" milkshakes! The best deal for the most food is getting an all-you-care-to-eat "skillet". The "skillet" comes with many types of food, including ribs, corn-on-the-cob, sausage, and mashed potatoes. This one is a delight for the whole family. Make sure to ask for ketchup! (Just ask once you get there. You'll see what I mean.)
Next is Cape May. This is a great seafood buffet, but not as good as some of the other restaurants. Nothing out of the ordinary here. The buffet includes a variety of shellfish and shrimp, as well as pasta and steak. The Oreo bon-bons are to die for!
And wrapping up my review is Sanaa, a unique Indian cuisine restaurant with great atmosphere, the food was good, but just a little awkward to me. This restaurant had the best dessert by far! I had the Chai Cream. This is the most amazing thing you will ever taste. Our waiter described it as "Christmas in a glass". Sounded unique, so I went for it. It was so shocking how accurate that description was. You must try this restaurant for the dessert!

I hope you enjoyed my review! See ya, and thanks for reading!!!
